Listening to ABC radio today, whilst returning from a photographic shoot, one of our Naked Australians photographers listened to an interesting segment.

Callers were invited to phone in and share their stories about places where they had found themselves naked.

Of course, many said they had been naked at a beach but others were very different indeed.

We thought we would ask our wonderful viewers the same question. Where have you found yourself naked and why were you naked in that place?

Mainly I find myself naked in public pool shower rooms. Even though I have done it for years it is still a bit strange when other people walk in and strip off next to you.       I also found myself naked at work when I was doing something rude in the bathroom cubicles.          

The most unusual one would be in a camping park in NSW a few years ago. I had camped over night and slept in my underwear. For some reason I decided to take a risk and remove my boxers before walking across the camp site to the shower facilities. That was a bit of a thrill.

well i think i would have to say i have been naked at a high school basketball game and outside my apartment late in the evening... at the high school game i did it on a dare and the time outside my apaprtment, my dog got out and i ran outside sans clothes save a teeshirt and ran all over my complex to catch my dog...lol

well heres an article that i can answear. where do i start. there has been my house inside and out, beaches both nude and non nude beaches, parks, roadside rest stops, bushwalks, driving and four wheel driving, forestry tracks the list goes on.

my all time best thing i have done naked some where i shouldnt have is when i went into a convience store fully nude one day.

it was ona trip from mackay to monto (near rockhampton QLD) i wanted to do the whole trip nude with the exception of a fuel stop at rockhampton. this i did and it envloved a stop as a small town store in the early hours of the morning. i arrived at the store already nude and there were no people outside the store so i got the courage and stepped out of the car and went into the store. the shopkeeper (female) was taken back and a bit shoked by my nudity but was good enough to serve me and i went on my way.

it was such a great rush that i got too complacaint and the next time i went through the area i stopped at this store again. this time it was later on in the day and a few people were near the store and i decided to do it anyway. so out i hoped nude again and went into the store passing the poeple that were out the front and went into the store but this time i was refused and i did the right thing and got back into the car.

little did i know that they had called the cops and was pulled over down the road which resulted in a appearance on court and a $100 fine. it was worth every cent.

It has been years but myself and some friends got naked at a party and danced to disco music. It was hilarious.

I like to go to nude beaches alot. My favourites in Sydney are Little Congwong and Cobblers. Cobblers gets between 100 and 150 people some days, men and women. I love swimming nude and walking up and down the beach. People check each other out, which is only natural. There are all shapes and sizes at this beach.

NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY in South Bend Indiana USA

used to have a fraternity that actually did a naked mile.  The dean put a stop to it though. I was going to attend it last year and get some pictures until i found out from a friend of mine who is an alumni of that university, that it was banned for good.  People have nothing better to do it seems, than to put a halt to things that don't hurt anyone.

I have had lots of experiences.  I once went to a party at my best friend's place.  She had decided she wanted to wear a mini skirt and a body paint top.  She asked me to paint her top and then talked me in to letting her paint me.  So we both spent the whole party topless.  Not quite naked I know but it was still wild, and really fun early in the night watching people as they realised we weren't really wearing anything.

I actually swim naked all the time in my pool, but no one can see in to the pool area from outside.  I have been swimming with lots of friends, but normally keep my bikini bottom on when I have company.

And once I was camping with a whole lot of friends.  One of the girls dared me to change my clothes outside, in full view of all the guys.  I said I would if she did.  She did change, but without showing anything.  I wriggled my bikini bottom off from under a towel, then pulled on my skirt but the towel fell off before I had the skirt on so I flashed everyone.

I've also been nude swimming with my wife and some male and female friends. Always good fun to swim naked, despite shrinkage!

I stated to go naked on beach, in 1988, as a thrill on St Austell nude beach in Cornwall, loved it. My best experince was a nude nightclub called starkers in London, was great fun and found a lady off the net to go with, ended up enjoying a bit moere then just dancing.

Also, I have an advert on the net for life modelling, as used to be a registred life model back in UK, now living in Gold Coast.

My only work to date is for hens nights, one of the girls even wanted me to get hard.  it seems like a niche market. At one of the nights, was a professional art teacher there.  If any one knows of any one who needs a life model, especially hens nights, plase let me know.  It is great fun

vince. naked australians model micheal here. i just read your post. i dont know of any people after a life model but if you try the universities in your area you should get some work with them. i myself am looking for models for this site and otehr works that i am doing. i am starting out in the photography world and i am always on the lookout for models to increase my protfolio.

Thanks for sharing your story and welcome to the forum. Living in the United States, it's nice to know that not everyone thinks nudity is taboo.  Sad to say there are not any beaches in Indiana where i am from... well if you count Indiana Beach, but that is just an amusement park on a beach..or a big body of water...lol and of course no nudity.. since it's a family oriented place.  Of course we do have Roselawn Indiana where the ponderosa nude commune is and where the contest nudes a poppin is held.

 I been known to have been naked in a number of situations and have included driving, riding my bike and streaking down the main street of my town in the early hours of the morning. I also go for nude walks in the early hours of the mornings with my pet dog. There has been many times and places where i have managed to get nude. I enjoy the sensation as well! as it gives me a feeling of freedom and exhilaration just knowing that I am able to strip off and enjoy it all.
